Impact Acoustic is a Swiss manufacturer of acoustic solutions and materials engineered for performance and circular design. They present Track, a large-format acoustic panel fabricated from ARCHISONIC® Felt using Swiss 3D printing technology. Designed for application across both walls and ceilings, Track combines flat and folded panel forms to deliver acoustic performance alongside a clean, directional surface texture suited to a wide range of interior environments.
Form and Installation
Track panels measure 1200 x 2800 mm with a total thickness of 40 mm, making them suited to floor-to-ceiling wall coverage or large ceiling applications. The combination of flat and folded forms within a single panel creates a subtle surface relief that adds visual texture without imposing a strong pattern. Installation is via Z-clip profiles fixed to the back of each panel, enabling clean mounting with no visible hardware.
Acoustic Performance
Sound absorption performance scales with air gap. At 24 mm material thickness: αw = 0.55 with no air gap, rising to αw = 0.65 at 50 mm, αw = 0.90 at 100 mm, and αw = 0.95 at 200 mm or greater, per DIN ISO 11654. At 12 mm thickness with no air gap, αw = 0.30.
Material and Color
Track is fabricated from ARCHISONIC® Felt, a 100% PET material with a minimum 60% post-consumer content—53 recycled plastic bottles per square meter at 12 mm, or 88 at 24 mm. The material is Cradle to Cradle Certified®, GREENGUARD Gold certified, and qualifies for LEED v4 VOC emission credits. The panel is available across the full 45-color ARCHISONIC® Felt palette as well as the 33-finish ARCHISONIC® Riftcut range. Physical samples are recommended for color verification, as slight variations are inherent to the recycled fiber content.
