The EGR 8400 Glass Railing System is a frameless-style glass balustrade solution designed for unobstructed views and minimal visual interruption. This system enables glass railings without vertical posts, offering clean lines, modular typologies and streamlined installation for large balconies, terraces and outdoor edge-zones.

Materials & Finishes
The EGR 8400 system uses aluminium alloy EN AW 6063 T66 (or equivalent) for the profiles, ensuring strength, machinability and compatibility with architectural aluminium finishing. Europa Profile thicknesses range from approximately 1.8 mm to 8 mm depending on typology, giving structural stability and rigidity. Europa Base profiles are finished with anodising (minimum ~25 µm corrosion protection for selected elements) and/or powder-coat to designer-specified colours (including RAL, textured or special effects). Glass panels are laminated safety glass, with PVB interlayer layers to ensure safety and compliance.

Applications & Installation
Ideal for high-end residential, hotel, rooftop terrace or luxury apartment balcony applications where visual openness and modern minimalism are key. The six typologies mean the EGR 8400 can adapt to

Installation involves anchoring the aluminium base profile securely to the slab or floor substrate, aligning and securing the glass panels into the base, applying caps or side plates, ensuring proper drainage and sealing, and if required integrating LED lighting or handrail profiles. Fabricator coordination is required to select the correct typology, glass thickness, anchoring method and compliance with local building codes and balustrade safety standards.
