Gresmanc Group, a Spanish family business with over 30 years of experience, specializes in manufacturing extruded stoneware solutions for façades, flooring, and pools, with a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability.
For the Caser Residence in Majadahonda, Madrid, designed by Rafael de La-Hoz Arquitectos, Gresmanc Group developed and supplied nearly 2,000 square meters of bespoke ceramic ventilated façade systems.
The Caser Residence is a residential healthcare facility completed in 2018 in the outskirts of Madrid. The architectural design prioritized energy performance, material longevity, and a clear visual identity. With almost a thousand square meters of ceramic envelope wrapping the building, the façade plays a crucial role in terms of technical efficiency and architectural expression. Its honest geometry and material modulation respond to the surrounding environment while creating a durable outer skin.
Two custom-made extruded elements were designed specifically for this project: a 400 mm white slat installed vertically to optimize solar control and energy efficiency, and a grooved panel that adds depth and texture to the façade. Both pieces were manufactured using Gresmanc’s extrusion process, ensuring high mechanical resistance and long-lasting performance.
The chosen colors, F039 Negronat and F055 Blanconat 9010, contribute to the building’s sober yet elegant appearance. The use of recycled materials and energy-efficient systems reflects Gresmanc Group’s commitment to sustainability throughout the production process.
