The Doze sofas were introduced in 2014 by the furniture manufacturer Flou. They are deep, modular sofas, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni as a piece for informal, relaxed hospitality. Doze sofas are a modular system that can be combined to form linear compositions, corner units, or lateral extensions, which allow them to adapt to different-sized spaces and environments.
The collection was expanded in 2015 with the Doze Flat version. The only difference between the first and second collections is the compact size of the Flat version, where the armrest thickness is reduced to 17 cm, from the original’s 25 cm.
The Doze system seeks to offer the same degree of comfort as a bed, with its slatted base, the sprung padding, and the special layer of breathable fabric.
The large, rectangular, and square elements can be combined to create linear, corner, or chaise-longue arrangements.
As with Flou bed arrangements, it can be ordered with no storage base, so it is completely disassembleable and its covers can be completely removed.
