This wellness project within a residence in Hyde Park consisted of a custom-made hammam and a sauna by the Belgian manufacturer Alpha Wellness Sensations, with spatial adaptation and design by Alpha Design. An indoor pool can be accessed by the same corridor that conceals the sauna behind marbled walls and vestibules that lead to the hammam at the end of the corridor.
The hammam has an elliptical design, that features tubular steam outlets with lighting accents in LED and symmetrical natural stone patterns.
The interior of the hammam is finished with full slabs of marble, lightened by white LED fixtures. At the center of the room sits a 12 kW EOS Steam Rock Premium steam generator, which can be controlled through an app. The hammam is separated by a glazed front door of 10 mm low iron tempered glass.
The Finnish sauna that completes the spa is finished on the inside with cedar slats, in a chocolate-like varnish and with a French polish finish.
The benches are set on two levels. The sauna is illuminated with LED lighting and it is heated with a 12 kW sauna oven with EOS Cubo features. It is also connected to the Emotouch app control for temperature and settings adjustment.
