Surfaces - Dekton® Ukiyo Collection | Cosentino

Dekton^® surface material from Cosentino is an ultracompact surface made from a mixture of raw materials used to make glass and state-of-the-art porcelain. Dekton^® surfaces are manufactured using Particle Sintering Technology, which involves an accelerated version of the metamorphic changes that natural stone undergoes when exposed to pressure and high temperatures for millennia.

Ukiyo by Cosentino is a new line of Dekton surfaces designed by Claudia Afshar. The name Ukiyo comes from Japanese and means 'living in the present moment, oblivious to life's problems. By applying this concept to interior design and architecture, Cosentino seeks to contribute to the creation of spaces that promote serenity, contemplation, and an appreciation of the beauty of everyday life, all within a visually appealing and functional environment.

Colors and Finishes

Cosentino's Ukiyo collection is available in two structured linear patterns, GV2 and GV3, and five colors that transform the identity of interior cladding. GV2 tiles have 15 surface grooves and the spacing between them is 25 mm, they are available in 8 and 12 mm thicknesses. GV3 tiles have 30 surface grooves and the spacing between them is 11 mm, available in 12 mm thickness. The tiles start in "enamel" and end in a surface groove.
