Compact Doors in the McLaren Technology Center | Rolflex

Rolflex specializes in manufacturing made-to-measure compact folding doors. Compact folding doors from Rolflex were used in the McLaren Technology Center, located in Woking, United Kingdom.

The assembly for all McLaren Automotive road cars takes place in the 34,500-square-meter facility. Situated southwest of the current McLaren Technology Centre, the McLaren Production Centre is linked to the latter by a subterranean walkway and shares a common language of details and materials. The entrance, reminiscent of the existing building, features a circular glass drum positioned under the overhang of the roof canopy.

Both the entrance doors for cars and the full glass doors in the facades are Compact folding doors, designed to seamlessly integrate with the building's aesthetic. These doors were custom-built to match the architectural design, meeting the specific requirements set for the building.

The production center has added Compact doors to its operations, positioning three glass booths before entering the car wash at the end of the production line. Each booth is opened and closed with a powder-coated full-light Compact door.
