Blinds with Control Systems in Vaucluse Home | Shade Factor

External Venetian blinds from Shade Factor were installed in a home in Sydney. The coastal home is designed to maximize views. The modern design required an aesthetical solution that would not obstruct the view and could be completely retracted when not in use. The blinds also needed to have wind and sun tracking.

Shading Solutions

The architects in collaboration with Shade Factor selected 100mm flat-slat external Venetian blinds with a climatronic central control system with a weather station. The blinds are programmed to track the sun and modulate the penetration of light throughout the day. Scenes were programmed that allow the blinds to be operated together with a single input from the controller or remote control.
