Fiandre is a leading company in the production of high-range full-body porcelain ceramic surfaces. ACTIVE SURFACES® from Fiandre were applied to the wardrobe and mini-break area of MA, a unique range of living pods developed by the Austrian start-up concept and located in Castellarano, Italy, at the Fiandre showroom.
Top-quality materials and finishes are used to create a living area whose large windows bring natural light in while offering a view of the outside. The main structure is made of solid cross-laminated timber with ecological stonewall, while the external and internal surfaces are covered with Fiandre technical ceramics to ensure perfect insulation. Equipped with the latest generation HCAV system, the project is also endowed with an innovative heat recovery and ventilation system, Keyless GO opening and closing systems, and Wi-Fi.
Surfaces Used
ACTIVE SURFACES® were used to protect the hygiene and comfort of the guests. The project was also made in a special version covered in Luce, the new collection designed by fashion designer Guillermo Mariotto for the Iris Ceramica Group. Luce offers an iridescent and 3-dimensional vision of ceramic surfaces, inspired by intangible precious fabrics that interact with the light.
MA is equipped with the Hypertouch system. This is an innovative, concealed capacitive technology applied to ceramic surfaces that enhances design functions and eliminates ugly external cover plates and switches. This is an exclusive technology, created and patented by the Iris Ceramica Group and applicable to Fiandre ceramic slabs.
