The austerity of aluminum meets the warmth of iroko wood in this seating system distinguished by its lean, minimalist design. The lower part of the Milos sofa structure is made of aluminum, a lightweight yet strong material, while the upper part is in solid iroko, a kind of wood whose high resistance to the effects of weather makes it particularly suited to use in outdoor settings. In counterpoint to the clean, squared lines of the structure are the voluminous seat and backrest cushions with their soft padding and elegant couture details, like the grosgrain piping.

The Milos seating system also includes a reclinable daybed that can stand alone or be integrated into various arrangements using fasteners that can be hooked and unhooked with ease. If not in use for lengthy periods, it is recommended that the Milos sofas be covered with their respective covers to keep them in good condition and maintain their original appearance as long as possible. Most of the components used in the Milos seating elements can be recycled.

Materials and Finishes

• Structure in aluminum, epoxy powder-coated in colors: white 100, wine red 405, khaki green 705, burnished, glossy grey 715; or, in embossed lacquered finish in white 300, sand 310, brick 320, sage green 330, terracotta 325, forest green 335, charcoal 350.
• Water-repellent elastic webbing in these colors: sand 9001, grey 9003, anthracite 9005, black 9009, salt and pepper 9017. Internal steel supports.
• Rests on feet made of thermoplastic material.
• The backrest and armrest are in solid iroko with a natural finish, stained grey, stained brown, or lacquered white.
• Seat cushion in polyurethane foam and polyester fiber covered with a protective, water-repellent laminated fabric.
• Backrest cushion in polyester fiber with water-repellent upholstery.
• Optional cushions/bolsters in polyester fiber with water-repellent upholstery. Upon request, with an upcharge.
• Upholstery piping tailored detail includes grosgrain piping that can be crafted in all the colors on the sample board.
• Upholstery in removable fabric.
• Cover in waterproof material. The cover is upon request, with an upcharge.
