More about this product

Lamberts manufactures cast glass which is glass formed by rolling processes. The company uses state-of-the-art machinery and is a leading factory of high-quality architectural glass with the lowest CO2 emissions. Linit® Ecoglass, a profiled glass from Lamberts, was used in The Eurotheum, a 110-meter-high building in the heart of Frankfurt, Germany.

Built parallel to the Main Tower, The Eurotheum comprises 31 floors and is one of the few high-rise buildings in Frankfurt to house both office space and a hotel. The building went through a redesign by the architectural firm Peter Kulka after the European Central Bank moved out as a significant tenant.

The foyer, with areas of varying heights, is now characterized by curved walls made of industrial glass profiles that rise up to seven stories. Depending on daylight and use, the hall can be decorated in different colors, each giving space to its own character.

For this project, LINIT® EcoGlass P 26/60/7 in a low iron, solar, and TSH (toughened, sandblasted, heat-soak-test) version was used.
