More about this product

Holcim is a manufacturer of innovative and sustainable building solutions in global markets. Today, the construction sector represents 38% of the world’s CO₂ emissions. One-third of this footprint occurs in the building phase while buildings in use generate the remainder. ECOPlanet from Holcim is a broad range of green cement that offers 100% performance with a CO₂ reduction of at least 30% compared to standard cement (CEM I).

Materials

ECOPlanet properties are achieved through green formulations with alternative materials, like calcined clay, and by using alternative fuels derived from materials at the end of their lifecycle during the manufacturing process. Where norms allow, Holcim engineers ECOPlanet mix with recycled construction and demolition waste (CDW) inside, further advancing its sustainability profile and driving circular construction.

Application

ECOPlanet is currently being used for multiple high-performance applications and projects worldwide. These include stadiums, bridges, dams, high-rise buildings, and other large structures with specific technical requirements.
