More about this product

Furla's new headquarters were built using Fiandre porcelain stoneware from the Maximum collection. The project by GEZA Architettura integrates industrial architecture into the surrounding landscape.

About the Project

The entire project was made as a play between the two opposing elements - the natural landscape with views of the hills, ancient hamlets, and small farm estates on one side and buildings, offices, laboratories, and the warehouse on the other.

Design Characteristics

Using renewable energy sources and minimizing the industry impact on the surrounding area, the project was realized with a holistic approach. This vision was further supported by incorporating the porcelain stoneware surfaces of Fiandre. These elements were designed using technologically advanced materials produced with natural raw materials in zero-emissions production sites.

Furla Headquarters in Italy

A system of patios and green roofs, combined with a view of the woods contribute to overcoming the boundaries between the inside and outside. To optimize the structural performance, special attention was paid to the flooring, with layering and insulation.

Fjord Collection

For the offices and production areas, the architects used Fiandre’s Fjord collection. Inspired by the lands of the North, this large-format porcelain stoneware collection reminisces on the old, pale stone surfaces where the thin grain emphasizes the range of shades. Fiandre Maximum surfaces are made using at least 40% recycled material and meet the requirements for LEED certification.
