The newly renovated Bless Hotel, situated in the heart of Barrio Salamanca revives the classic style of hedonistic luxury and vintage Madrid from the 60's and 70's with a few country touches. Designed by Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the concept behind the new hotel is "disruptive, historic and fun."
Hisbalit's Art factory personalisation service played a role in the creation of various interior elements. The designers created four personalised floors from Hisbalit. These floors were installed in: The restaurant Etxeko of Martín Berasategui, the Fetén Clandestine Bar, two bathroom of “premium” rooms and the terrace.
Application
Reinterpreted cross stitch designs in restaurant Etxeko | Geometric, luminous tile floor in the Fetén Clandestine Bar | Sophisticated retro design in premium bathrooms |
The restaurant Etxeko, meaning "homemade" in Basque is inspire by the traditional Madrid tavern. Headed by chef Martín Berasategui, the restaurant-bistro creates a sensory experience. The mosaic floor from Hisbalit's Art Factory is a part of this experience. The mosaic displays a reinterpreted escutcheon design with the colours red, white and blue evoking the past with classic bordering in cross stich patterns. | The Fetén Clandestine Bar combines fun with elegance. The space includes a cosmopolitan bowling alley. Hisbalit's luminous tile floor sets the tone for this space, combining the fancy experience of a cocktail bar with the entertainment of play. To create the floor, Arpegio mosaic tiles from the Black & White Collection were used to simulate a large carpet with a geometric motif. | The 2 premium suite bathrooms in the hotel, hide an elegant surprise. The aesthetic of the bathrooms combine retro with sophistication. The mosaic tile floor uses hexagonal tiles from Hisbalit's Art Factory collection with personalised colours. |
