Ceramic Textile System - Fabra & Coats Art Factory | Flexbrick

The Ceramic Textile System from Flexbrick functions as a flexible construction system that is easily adapted to cover all kinds of architectural surfaces. For this project, the architects were entrusted with renovating and breathing new life into the old Fabra & Coats industrial complex. The vertical positioning of the pieces Flexbrick creates contrast with the traditional horizontal placement, providing visual lightness.

The essence of the system is bringing together small pieces that comprise a large-scale assemblage, that being lined up vertically gives the visual effect of long strips. Resulting in a bright modern glass facade, protected from sunlight with a high-tech element integrated to the brick facades of the pre-existing building.
