The PLANOCOLOR® TERRAZZO system is a well-designed decorative covering solution which includes:

- Terrazzo mix

As soon as the substrate has been properly prepared the terrazzo mix is applied. A variety of PLANOCOLOR® GRANULATES (marble, recycled glass, lightweight colored to the mass granulates) are mixed with the hydraulic binder NOVACEM TERRAZZO to create high-strength terrazzo coverings with a 15-20mm minimum thickness. Higher thickness is also applicable depending on the granulates size chosen.
If a smaller thickness is required (6-10mm), PLANOCOLOR® GRANULATES are mixed with the two component mortar NOVACEM MICROTERRAZZO to create the terrazzo floor.
Τerrazzo coverings are suitable for
- Indoor applications that contribute to the LEED system via their certified indoor air quality system (EMICODE® EC1 PLUS) of very low emission Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)
- Indoor or outdoor large scale application areas such as airports, schools, hotels, hospitals, museums, shopping malls, office, residential, lobbies
- Bespoke & customized constructions such as staircases, furniture, benches, sinks, flowerpots or even precast tiles or slabs
- Luminous glowing in the dark coverings in security stairwells, outdoor pathways, which provide a smooth ambient lighting in the dark
