OTTOSTUMM supplies components for steel fenestration systems. The new system FerroFinestra W75 Thermal Barrier represents the most technologically advanced thermally insulated steel door and window system in the OTTOSTUMM portfolio. The new system also includes a tilt and turn opening mechanism.
The designs maintain the evocative and clean design of the FerroFinestra with simple, rational and sober lines inspired by early 20th-century European architecture. The 25 range profiles are supplemented by a wide range of fittings and accessories in contemporary styles or reproduced from original 20th-century designs.
Surface finishes range from natural Cor-Ten to burnished bronze, from dark steel to material varnishing effects.
In bright steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel (1.4404), Cor-Ten steel and Architectural Bronze, both flush and overlapping, the new FerroFinestra W75 TB allows the realization of elegant doors and windows, particularly in the refined industrial style.
A profile depth of 75 mm allows the accommodation of highly energy-efficient insulating glazing up to 52 mm and the fiberglass-reinforced polyamide insulator guarantees excellent thermal insulation, making the system ideal for projects in climatically demanding regions.
The steel billets, rods and strips, from which OTTOSTUMM steel window profiles are formed, are smelted from almost 100% recycled steel scrap. At the end of their life, steel windows can be systematically dismantled and the frames, fittings, and glass recycled.
