This modern luxury residence is set in private, quiet surroundings. The third floor of the house is designed as a floating prism covered entirely with Coverlam in a Wood finish from Grespania in 1000x3000mm large format porcelain tiles. The architectural firm behind the design required a material with a natural finish that could integrate itself into the surrounding environment. The whole house is conceptualized with a color scheme of whites and blacks with wood as primary elements.

Ventilated Facade
Worthy of special mention is the work done on the installation of the ventilated façade; In this project, the joints between the Grespania Coverlam pieces take center stage. Before the installation of the anchor system, the entire surface of the cube was colored black to help highlight the joints between pieces. In this case, the joint width was almost double the standard 5mm, to create a contrast between the large-format panels of wood-look porcelain and the other parts of the house that are detailed in black such as the door and window frames, the main facade, etc.

The design has been shortlisted at the International Design & Architecture Awards 2018 and it was Highly Commended as a Single Unit Development of the Year for developers Belhaven Homes at the Premier Guarantee Awards 2017.
