The architects, Vikár&Lukács Architects, created a strong statement with the structure of the space of the SAP Lobby at the Office located in Budapest, Hungary. Because it serves as the main entrance to the entire Hungarian SAP operation, the Lobby at SAP New Offices was an important part of the project concept.
Design
The aim was to use interior design elements that respect the space yet gently form it. In accordance with SAP Brand Guidelines, the background of the SAP logo can only be white. Besides using white color Swisspearl panels, the architects wanted to use some very different, special surfaces and innovative technology. To add more energy to this concept they chose to perforate the panels.
Facade Material: Swisspearl Carat, Onyx 7090, Sapphire 7060, Jade 7050
World clocks
SAP is a multinational company and the client requested a world clock series somewhere in the lobby. The architects integrated the world clocks within the Swisspearl panels, offering an unorthodox solution.
