Surface Mount Downlight - Pavo | Alcon Lighting®

The Pavo LED by Alcon is an architectural surface-mount downlight. It is versatile and low-glare for indoor and outdoor, up or down use. Pavo is constructed from a single piece of high-grade aluminum extrusion and a piece of die-cast aluminum top-plate. The lens consists of a round one-piece extruded aluminum with powder coat finish, clear tempered glass, and silicone O-ring.

It is ideal for commercial or retail settings with a choice of beam radius and color temperature. The Pavo LED as a downlight provides a great source of lighting from above and as an uplight is used to accent and create dramatic effects.

Alcon has used Chip On Board LED (COB) technology which combines multiple LED sources to which makes them less prone to failure, more efficient and with a lower operating temperature than a single LED unit. COB also increases the possible lumen output which is a maximum of 850 Lumens in the case of the Pavo light.
