Burel Mountain Originals comes from Serra da Estrela and consists of four stores, a wool factory (the Burel Factory) and two hotels, the Casa das Penhas Douradas and the Casa de São Lourenço. It is a sustainable project rooted in the Serra da Estrela and always has a challenge in mind to reinvent the value of the region's riches by combining the art and knowledge of the village weavers with today's design, creating original, woolly traces contemporary, invading homes, offices, hotels, businesses, shaped like rugs, pillows, bed bases, benches, wallcoverings, backpacks, bags,… creating your pieces!
