Società Italiana Lastre was founded in 1961. Through it’s wide range of high quality products it has rapidly become a reference point for national and European markets for corrugated fibercement boards.

Since 1973 SIL began flatsheet board production initially for prefabbricated buildings, then, increasing its range of products, moving on to manufacturing materials suitable for internal and exterior cladding, applications that now represent its core business.

SIL has always operated and performed production paying great attention to environmental safety. It has carried out many different measures to guarantee a safe and salubrious place to work in.

Over the years SIL has invested enormous resources on Research and Development, improving the quality performance of its products as well as manufacturing techniques.
