Solarlux GmbH has been a specialist in flexible window and facade solutions for over 40 years. Their bi-folding door range covers a broad spectrum of materials, thermal performance levels, and panel configurations to meet diverse design requirements.
| The SL 97 bi-folding door is available as a bottom-running or top-hung system. It is made using a wood-and-aluminium profile system suitable for passive house standards, with laminated wood, a rear-ventilated aluminium cover, and an additional layer of insulation. | |
| Material | Wood, aluminum |
| Thermal transmission coefficient | Uw ≥ 0.80 W/m²K |
| Water tightness | 7A |
| Wind resistance | C3 |
| Protected profiles | With wood/aluminium combination |
| Air permeability | 3 |
| Sight lines | Frame: 45 – 108 mm Panel: 85/103 mm Panel joint: 184 mm Frame building depth: 96 - 122 mm Panel building depth: 96 mm |
| The Highline bi-folding door features patented bionicTURTLE® technology that enables slim sight lines despite large, heavy panels, optimal insulation, and water tightness. | |
| Material | Aluminium |
| Thermal transmission coefficient | Uw > 0.8 W/m²K |

| Sight lines | Panel joint: 99 mm Panel building depth: 67 mm Maximum panel width: 1,000 mm Maximum panel height: 3,000 mm |
| The Combiline bi-folding door combines a wood interior with a square aluminium cover shell on the exterior, providing high weatherproofing while maintaining a warm, natural aesthetic inside. The sub-frame uses an aluminium structure faced with solid-wood sections. Two continuous gaskets guarantee optimum drainage and sealing performance. | |
