EGGER OSB Flammex is a structural OSB/3 panel with an enhanced reaction-to-fire classification for applications where increased fire protection requirements apply. Manufactured in accordance with EN 300 and CE-marked in accordance with EN 13986, the panel combines structural performance with certified fire behaviour.
The product features a factory-applied flame-retardant intumescent coating. In the event of fire, the coating forms a protective barrier on the coated surface, helping to reduce flame spread and slow the burn-through of the panel when used within the specified scope of application. As an OSB/3 panel, OSB Flammex offers load-bearing capacity and stiffness for structural applications in timber construction. The board can be used in wall, roof and ceiling systems and is suitable for timber frame construction projects requiring documented fire performance.
The white coated surface is supplied ready for use, eliminating the need for additional surface treatment before installation where the specified appearance and performance requirements are met.
