Days of Oris is an international architecture convention organised by Oris magazine and the Oris House of Architecture. The two-day event has been held since 2001. It presents the most significant names of the architectural and cultural scene and gathers more than 2000 visitors every year.

The James Harrison Steedman Fellowship in Architecture is open to anyone, anywhere in the world, who has received an accredited degree in architecture within the last eight years. The $50,000 fellowship is granted biannually to support 6-12 months of international travel for architectural research. This year's theme is Infrastructures, developed by jury chair Andrea Leers, Principal and Co-Founder, Leers Weinzapfel Associates. The fellowship is jointly administered by the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis and AIA St.

The Governor Markham Landmark District is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the City of Pasadena, and residences included in the District parallel Pasadena’s growth from incorporation as a city in 1886. Ninety-four percent of the homes were constructed between 1891 and 1933. This area became an official Landmark District in 2005 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, nominated by Pasadena Heritage.
