Urban Ruins Series: A Conversation with Dino Bozzi and Cecilia Puga

As part of our "Urban Ruins" series, developed in collaboration with anthropologist Francisca Márquez and the UAH, we will host a conversation this Thursday, July 7, at 7:00 PM with architects Cecilia Puga and Dino Bozzi regarding design approaches to ruins and the challenges of conservation.

International open ideas competition: Weissenhof 2027 in Stuttgart

In 2027, the Weissenhofsiedlung in Stuttgart will mark its 100th anniversary. The famous housing estate, originally consisting of 21 houses, was built for the 1927 Deutscher Werkbund International Exhibition under the artistic direction of Mies van der Rohe. Le Corbusier’s two houses are part of the UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Coliseum: Architectural Fantasy

Exhibition dedicated to the Coliseum building, its architecture, and its development as a performance space. “#MOBILIS, a shifting narrative” is a project designed by Universidad Finis Terrae School of Architecture faculty members Macarena Urzúa and Rodrigo Santa María (Siglo22arquitectos), consisting of a temporary intervention built from the accounts of 40 Chilean voices. The project was presented in April at the Young Architects Festival (YAF Constructo) held at the Ruinas de Huanchaca (Antofagasta) and at Puerto de Ideas.
