"Ermitaños," a documentary about the residents of the iconic Edificio Ermita, will be screened as a special event at the Cineteca Nacional as part of the 2022 ENAC Film Showcase.

"Trébol y Carmesí" is an exhibition that combines photography and landscape design to present a visual diary. Rather than a homogeneous project, it evokes "wild weeds"—a conjunction of nature and urbanity where every moment appears as a "non-place." Building on this, an in-situ intervention was created with Carla Hernández (@dealerdeplantas) to inhabit the exhibition in an architectural and organic manner, drawing from the intersection of urbs-natura-civitas and the photographic work of Erick Conceka.

With this gathering, PENSARQ_ returns to public-facing events with no capacity limits. The talk will be led by Isaac Padilla, known as "Redman."

At Fábrica de Ciudad, we continue to seek new spaces to share, reflect on, discuss, and question architecture. Visiting FAB is a collaborative project with the UNAM Faculty of Architecture, through its Division of Continuing Education and Faculty Development, aimed at building architectural knowledge and dialogue through curiosity outside the classroom—where architecture actually happens: on-site.

Design Week is a biannual event hosted by the Department of Architecture and Design at the Universidad de la Costa (Barranquilla, Colombia), established in 2019. It serves as an exhibition and competition space where the results of emerging creative processes from the classroom are presented, bridging them with the realities of professional practice to showcase and share the achievements of the Department's academic programs with the university community.

The 35th FA Student Exhibition will take place at the Faculty of Architecture from May 23 to June 3. This event, held annually since 1982, is titled "From Here to There" this year. For the first time, it is being managed entirely by the student community, having been developed and conceptualized by a multidisciplinary team of 16 students under the coordination of student curator Iván Alejandro Montiel Ramos.

Camino Intangible

From December 3 to January 13, Servidor Local (Progreso 24, Escandón) presents Cenários, an exhibition by artists Bariza Benmehenni, Sofía Martínez, and Yatini Domínguez. These artists work with the materiality of paper and clay, creating small utopian/dystopian scenarios to construct an imaginary that transcends two-dimensionality.

This book analyzes the origin, development, and dismantling of the Lima Planning Institute (IPL) at the National University of Engineering (UNI), which served as the headquarters for Project 205 of the Inter-American Program for Urban and Regional Planning (PIAPUR).

The book highlights the Institute's significance within both the national and Latin American contexts regarding professional training in urban and regional planning, while considering the influence of the various schools of thought and the political and social movements of the era. It was the first postgraduate program of its kind in the country and the first in its specialty in Latin America.

“MINI ARQUIS”

Explore the possibilities of an urban-architectural project in the heart of the Mexican Bajío through immersive activities and processes, such as guided tours, the fabrication of vernacular construction systems at a 1:1 scale, and presentations by renowned architects and experts from various fields of knowledge.

Encuentro de Intervenciones Efímeras, in collaboration with the National System of Art Creators of the Federal Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Culture of the State of Puebla, Museos Puebla, the Municipal Institute of Art and Culture of Puebla, the Municipal Ministry of Economy and Tourism of Puebla, and the Office of the Historic Center and Cultural Heritage of the Municipality of Puebla, invites graphic, visual, and multidisciplinary artists, as well as architects—both established and emerging—to participate in the third edition of Patio Efímero.

With the goal of reflecting on the relationship between the natural wealth of Bogotá's Eastern Hills and the city's dynamics, the call for entries for the International Ideas Competition: Public Use Alternatives is now open.
