In the era of the Metaverse Renaissance, characterized by the advancements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and artificial intelligence technology, a new concept of empathy is required. STELSI recognizes the importance of architecture in representing people's identities within the metaverse.

Unbuilt is a membership community for motivated architects. Members gain access to a private digital community, educational content, and engage with challenging design competitions. The Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) is thrilled to announce the launch of an international design competition aimed at discovering innovative designs and ideas from experts across various fields.
The competition's goal is to create the first-ever pedestrian bridge on the Han River, specifically transforming the Jamsu submersible bridge beneath Banpo Bridge. This visionary project aims to establish a new civic leisure and cultural space, offering citizens an unprecedented experience of the iconic Han River.

Since the start of time, a HOME has continued to be an entity that is intimate to all living beings on the planet. A space that not only provides a physical shelter for humans and everything they hold dear but also shapes their daily lives. A home forms a distinct bond with its users and the environment that it sits in defining both personal and social interactions.

The contest is open to professionals and students from the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, design, and any related field, of legal age from every country in the world, and has two participation options:

COMPETITION FORMAT:
Warming Huts + Art Installation
Three teams will be selected as winners of the WARMING HUTS COMPETITION: Arts + Architecture Competition on Ice from submissions of designs for a warming hut or art installation. Winning entries will be placed along the Nestaweya River Trail located on the Assiniboine and Red rivers in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A jury will select the winning designs based on their creativity in use of materials, providing shelter, poetics of assembly and form, integration with the landscape, and ease of construction.

Join the ranks of the bold and creative in the 3rd International Design Competition: Reimagining Cities towards Carbon Neutrality. Building on the success of previous years, this competition seeks out the best and brightest minds to tackle one of the greatest challenges of our time. This is the challenge for worldwide architecture and urban design university students to propose a brilliant idea to solve the real problem of an area.

The LA+ EXOTIQUE design ideas competition asks entrants to design the forecourt of the Museum of Natural History in Paris. The museum was founded in 1793 during the French Revolution, though the site had been used as a royal garden of medicinal plants since 1635. The site is located on the left bank of the River Seine and sits within the Jardins des Plantes, which are 28-hectare grounds that include exterior gardens and a zoo (Ménagerie), with five galleries in the museum precinct: Gallery of Evolution, Gallery of Mineralogy and Geology, Gallery of Botany, Gallery of Paleontology and Comparative Anatomy, and Large Greenhouses (Grandes Serres). All of these could be considered inspiration for your design. The Museum is not just a collection of fossils, it is an active research institution studying the evolution of life on this planet, and its occupants, both human and nonhuman.

Every three years the BDA Berlin supports young theoreticians, architects and urban planners with two endowed prizes. The Daniel Gössler Award, endowed with €1,250, will be conferred for the fifth time in 2023. It honours outstanding work in the field of architectural theory.

Trnava, the regional vision-having city of 62,000 inhabitants, launches an international two-stage urban design competition of an unprecedented scale across Slovakia. From the point of the history of the city ̓s development, this is a game-changer to be setting a new standard with respect to the preparation of The Land-use plan.

As part of the celebration of the Day of the Mediterranean 2023, the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) is organising a student competition on Urban Design entitled “Urban Solutions to Climate Change in the Mediterranean”. Undergraduate/Graduate students in relevant Schools/Departments, based in any of the 43 UfM Member States can participate. However eligible proposals must be located in one UfM Member States around the Mediterranean (see below for details).

Ministry of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Urbanism of Montenegro has announced an International Competition for a conceptual architectural design of a primary school in City Kvart in Podgorica.
