Registration is now open for a new edition of the Paisagens Caiçaras (Caiçara Landscapes) exhibition. From February 14 to March 20, the project's curatorial team will accept visual arts submissions centered on the theme "The Villages and Caiçara Populations of Brazil." This theme was suggested by the public to the Brazilian Postal Service's Philately Department for the issuance of a special stamp in 2022.
The project is the result of a partnership between the Superintendency of the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage in Paraná (Iphan-PR), the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), and the Brazilian Postal Service (Correios). Currently, the project's website already hosts the first edition of the Paisagens Caiçaras exhibition. Featuring digital works across various genres, the gallery was compiled from submission campaigns held between October 2020 and April 2021.
