This book compiles the reflections and experience of the inter-university program developed by LINA Plataforma, which aims to explore the field of design from a gender perspective.
It presents a conceptual framework that highlights the importance of addressing the androcentric bias that has historically guided architectural education, as well as the potential of integrating inclusive—gender-based and intersectional—approaches into the studio as a foundation for designing democratic and inclusive spaces. The book documents the program and the results of two design laboratories: [D] Lab. (De)Constructed Architecture(s), focused on the study of housing, and [I] Lab. (Inter)Sectional Landscapes, focused on the subject of public space.
