DYUTI-Avani Summer Workshop 2024 -Series 2.0

We're thrilled to announce the Avani Summer Workshop 2024 - DYUTI, 2.0 a program that integrates various art forms to help young individuals hone their inherent talents and creativity. The workshop is designed to kindle young minds by sensitizing them to the intricacies, nuances, and aesthetics of everyday life. DYUTI provides a platform for participants to engage in individual and collaborative learning experiences with their peers and our team of expert faculty members. Through engaging sessions, our goal is to effectively shape their ideas, enhance creativity, and cultivate a sense of design.

The workshops will include sketching and drawing sessions led by Ar. Dhaiwat Panchal, incorporating both indoor and outdoor observations and encouraging participants to reconnect with their inner artist. Moving beyond two-dimensional representations, participants will delve into the captivating world of Origametria under the guidance of Artist Anto George. This segment will involve intricate folding techniques using paper to create simple and complex three-dimensional forms. Transcending the technical aspects of weaving, the Weaving workshop led by Ar. Sebastian Joseph invites participants to explore its potential as a powerful medium of expression, through a blend of multimedia elements like printed/ coloured paper, fabric, threads, leaves and objects. Following this exploration into a tapestry of memories, experiences, and emotions, participants will engage in a workshop focused on the interaction between the body and space. Coordinated by Ar. Sebastian Joseph and Dr. Soumini Raja, this workshop will emphasize the fluidity of body movements and how they can convey the space we inhabit through our actions.

From the precision of lines to the fluidity of curves, from the transformation of simple paper into three-dimensional shapes to the vibrant colors on the palette, from the exploration of a technique as a medium to the expression of one's identity through intangible references, and from evoking the senses to exploring rhythmic and chaotic body movements, the DYUTI workshop offers young minds limitless opportunities for creativity this summer. We invite young minds aged between 14 to 19, to enroll for the workshop.
