The architecture firm Min | Day has designed a energy conscious home designed for fluid indoor-outdoor living for purchase through Hometta, a online blueprint database of progressive and sustainable modern houses available for purchase by the masses. We’ve told you before what Hometta is. This summer Hometta presents a virtual neighborhood modeled after its collection of small, modern house plans. H-Town will help Hometta fans further experience the Hometta designs in an interactive way. Through avatars, visitors will be able to explore, socialize with others through chat, and participate in self-guided tours of the Hometta houses.

This year, Hometta’s celebrating by offering all their friends and members free downloadable plans for the hippest gingerbread house on the block. This DIY house is a small-scale version of the Draft House by Hometta’s own, award-winning HouMinn Practice.

The company was founded by Mark Johnson, a Houston-based green home builder, and his frequent collaborator Andrew McFarland.
Launched earlier this past summer, Hometta.com features 24 small modern houses designed by 24 studios. A third of the home plans are available for viewing and purchase. Hometta offers a variety of completely modern home plans designed by renowned, award-winning and/or published studios from around the world. Each house is under 2,500 square feet and utilizes smart, sustainable materials and design methods.
