We want your opinion, we want your feedback

We recently interviewed George H. Miller, the president of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), to ask him about the importance of the Internet in our profession:

“The Internet allows a daily exchange of particular topics of interest. So, you can kind of put out a question regarding a topic of interest and you will have many people respond to assist in that discussion.”

It is always interesting to hear what others have to say, especially as our opinions can vary regarding different topics.

For us at ArchDaily, we highly value your opinion, as your contributions to our articles spur debates about architecture, design and society. Your continual feedback helps others look at things from a new angle and critic the success of a project.

So, we’d like to know your take on how we can make ArchDaily better suit your interests. We are constantly publishing the latest architectural news focusing on an array of topics from building technology and materials, to events and competitions, to interviews and even magazine reviews.

We want your opinion on which of the following topics you would like to see featured more often on ArchDaily.

The theory never is too much! Always we need to remember who give us the bases of our job!

In full support of the first comment: It would be nice to see theoretical and research topics.

More work from British and Irish architcets please!!! Theres plenty from other European countries, but a distinct lack from the UK. You might have to look a little harder than in say Germany or Switzerland due to the abysmal, backward thinking British planners killing many projects before they get off the ground, but there are a number cutting edge, incredibly sleek designs coming through. There seems to be too many mock post-mo projects on this site, often residential, (im sad to say alot of them are American) which often border on the gaudy, and do little to advance decent design. Having said that, we also need to move away from bog standard rubbish as well!

I wanna more drawings instead of photos to discribe how the building was work out,so if you can show their design documents of conceptual design, that’s perfect.I wanna know how they present their design.

Why dont we colaborate too? I mean, it will be nice if every reader could apport extra information about (for example) buildings, such as details, pics, history… something like a full wikipedia or library

archdaily.com is the ultimate powerhouse of displaying the latest and greatest architecture. Don’t screw that up. Mixing in other features like “Building technology/materials, Events, and Interviews” will only pull away the focus of what makes this site great. I come to archdaily.com to see the enormous collection of great architecture. There’s other sites that offer insight into materials, event, interviews, etc. Please keep doing what makes this site so great. Don’t great distracted by trying to do too much else.
