The new interior of “Boa Hair” is giving the impression of entering an own world, a new identity of the hairdresser’s salon – the space has given a hair cut.

The complete underside of the ceiling is covered with hanging white-transparent fibres. A slight movement circulates in the fibres when hairdryers blowing air through the space.

The development and production of the material and elements took place together with Wasag AG Switzerland.

nice ceiling!
Nice idea, I guess the light must look pretty through the fibers. But it seems a little too literal to put “hair” in the ceiling of a hairdressers salon. Also the space becomes a bit claustrofobic. I think it would have worked better in a nightclub with a very high ceiling.
Great post, I will put it up on my blog.
I’m wondering what materials are white fibers made of. Is it fire- proof?
