UK Pavilion for Shanghai World Expo 2010 Video
The UK Pavilion for Shanghai World Expo 2010 is one of the people’s favorite (if not the most). We featured yesterday the pavilion’s details with some amazing photos and plans. Now, we could not pass the opportunity to show you this amazing video of the pavilion made by Channelbeta. The video was published by a reader in our Facebook group!

I think I know where they got the inspiration…

I think this is an amazing piece of work.
I think they should definatly bring this back to the UK and have this instead of anish kapoors “broken rollercoaster”!
beautiful pavilion.
and also completely ironic that they introduce a “green” element (a seed) into each toxic element (the 60,000 acrylic rods that this world didn’t need).

they also re-proposed their “Sitooterie” (that a version has been built in Barnards Farm (UK)), but here in Shangaï in a very, very, very large scale.
Sitooterie can be seen in

Ok guys, we all knows now that archdaily loves UK pavilion!
it this a promo website?
could we please see other pavilions also instead of daily news about the uk one, which I love?
I know you published about others but didn’t write so deeply about.
May be we should’t see nothing exept UK? Do not convert head in to trash can…
What? and who are you?
BRAVO!!!
It reminds me of a giant Koosh Ball, all wobbling and movement.
This is a gorgeous project.
the most interesting and creative project- adding a long rods to to simple form of a cube was brilliant. and the interior is soo magical- my favourite!!
