Location: Mestia, Georgia
Design Team: Jürgen Mayer H., Christoph Emenlauer, Hugo Reis, Danny Te Kloese
Completion: 2012
Clients: Ministry of Internal Affairs, Georgia

The project is situated in the heart of the old town of Mestia, next to the newly built city-hall. Its towerlike shape pays homage to the medieval stone towers which are traditional to Mestia’s mountainside region. The facade is comprised of prefabricated textured concrete and large openings which offer a maximum of transparency.

these guys projects all looked do rushed.
the composition and proportions of everything they do are just awful.
on the up side I like the street lamp design
At first i thought, that this is some 3D visualization. I’m surprised, that this project has been constructed in Georgia (with all due respect ;)) and not e.g. in Switzerland.
I have to ask why is this better than some more traditional alternative.
It’s not very original too.
