A circa 1920′s residence with compromised heritage elements was remodeled andextended to create three, single level, 3 bedroom apartments. A new addition to thenorth capitalises on northern light and ocean views and accommodates deepverandah’s and the principle living rooms. The extension is painted to blend with theoriginal dark brick structure and timber louvres reference traditional detailing whilstproviding control for privacy, sun, and sea breezes.
