Any good designer knows that the appropriate architectural wallcolor is called, architect’s green, it is a slight gray green color several shades lighter than the color of unfinished sheetrock………
Surely there’s someone else unemployed out there with something more interesting to say than this. It seems a crime to waste space on the most visited architecture website like this.
I find the design+door schedule pie morbidly humorous. It’s funny, but makes me shudder to think how much ‘design’ is actually part of an architect’s career.
Man, there are some serious a$$holes on this site. Anyone who thinks Jody hates architecture is either a moron or completely asleep at the wheel. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone more dedicated to the profession.
The reason his posts make everyone so upset is because you KNOW there is a great deal of truth to his spoofs. And besides, LEARN TO LAUGH A LITTLE and your face won’t hurt so much. Jeez people. What crawled up your a$$es and died?
Charts #1
that’s why they work doesn’t inspire poeple,

Pardon?
International friend + google translator?
I hate these generalizing mentalities; outdated at that.
Boring and not funny at all
“you don’t joke with architecture”.still it was a bit funny, but you have to be an architect or architecture student to get it ;)

I think you’ll find architect’s green is the appropriate for a door, white is still the correct colour for a wall.

Well said, James
it makes me laugh, like a first year student project, only without the facepalm
perfect description.
That door schedule chart is so true.

you have to admit, the Calatrava one is pretty funny :)
Percent of people who loaded the last one into photoshop to see exactly how many pixels the square is off center.
haha! You can count me in that percentage! :-P
Very funny. Made me chuckle a few times. Are architects generally not amused by anything?
the angriest are the most inspired to comment. I thought it was amusing
This was pretty funny. Made my morning anyway!
But probably just as revealing is the tremendous number of bitter, humorless comments. Joke’s on you guys, haha! Lighten up, sheesh. :D
:D :D

LOL-You nailed it, Jody! Keep up the good work!
Not being an architect (I just enjoy good architecture) I found it quite funny :)

ha ha ha …. creative charts!!!
As a person who just laid plans for a basement design, I know first hand that door schedules sadly determine more things than they should.
