I don’t know… I feel that…somewhat it is a bit western misinterpretation of eastern culture. Not that I’m trying to say whether it’s right or wrong but… aesthetically and personally, I think it somewhat appears to be chaotic mix-match of dutch redlight district and ruins from traditional chinese houses

i agree with you.. feels some how a bit weird.. it feels like one who wants to have an eastern vibe but didnt succeed.

I dont know. I just feel like some of these European architects get more conceptual, more alien, and more disconected from reality with time. These rendering remind me of ivy league graduate school, where fancy colors and cute little transparent people (that look futuristic) mask the fact that the building will not feel or look anything like that. these renderings are something out of a psychedelic film.
