Exhibition at the New Museum: “Urban China: Informal Cities”

By — Filed under: Architecture News ,Events , ,

“Urban : Informal Cities”, is the latest exhibition to open in the in New York. The exhibition is a physical manifestation  of the magazine Urban China, the only magazine devoted to issues of urbanism published in and about China.

Also, on this exhibition “Urban China Bootlegged by C-Lab for Volume“, a special and limited-edition project produced specifically for the exhibition. The magazine, formulated as a bootleg, borrows content from Urban China and will be celebrated at the exhibition opening today.

The theme of the bootleg is crisis, which is unfortunately apt by the destruction of the TVCC building in Beijing yesterday. Thanks to Dana Karwas (C-Lab) for the info. For more details on the exhibition, you can go to the official website of the New Museum.
