The Australasian Performing Rights Association & the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society (APRA/AMCOS) began the search for new premises when developer interest in their existing building presented the opportunity to look further afield than simply refurbish. Their current premises were a traditional 3 storey office curtain walled office building in St Leonards.

Once this process was set in motion and a brief for what was required became established, APRA recognized the opportunity to tackle broader issues of workplace change within its relocation project. The final product has shown that the architectural design has been an important catalyst to foster change and to promote a greater level of communication, efficiency and transparency within the company.
