Q: What is the ArchDaily Supporters' Program?
A: The ArchDaily Supporters Program is a membership plan that offers exclusive benefits to subscribers and helps us to keep providing tools, inspiration, and knowledge for everyone involved in creating a better-built environment. As a supporter, you're helping us achieve our mission of keeping open access to architecture while getting closer to our team simultaneously.
Q: Why is ArchDaily launching a Supporters' Program?
A: The way information is consumed on the internet is constantly evolving. The previous "free" internet was not truly free: traditional advertising was the main way of funding quality content. With privacy becoming increasingly important, the advertising model is changing, too. At ArchDaily, we want to keep open access to information as much as possible. Still, at the same time, we need a financially sustainable model for it. With those thoughts in mind, we decided to create a way for our audience to support us in delivering our mission.
Q: What benefits will I receive through this Program?
There are two types of subscriptions: Standard and Premium. Both types receive the following benefits:
- A supporters-only community newsletter that is sent twice a month. This special newsletter aims to give our closer community members insights into what is happening inside ArchDaily's newsroom. We will highlight the voices of our talented editors, who will comment and share their thoughts on the topics we are working on and recommend tools, events, and job opportunities, among others.
- Exclusive benefits with our partners (e.g., discounts on online courses, free access to webinars, and other educational opportunities)
Additionally, we have some benefits for Premium supporters only:
- Exclusive Premium benefits with our partners (e.g., discounts on online courses, free access to webinars, and other educational opportunities)
- Opportunities to influence the future of ArchDaily. We'll reach out to you to invite you to voluntary focus groups, online surveys, etc. Something more intimate and direct than the general feedback that anybody can provide via a web form.
- Ad-free experience for uninterrupted content enjoyment.
Q: Will I still be able to read news, articles, and projects if I'm not a Supporter?
A: Yes, all existing and upcoming news, articles, and projects will be available for free, just as it has been until now. The idea is to offer additional benefits/content to the ones contributing via the Supporters' Program.
Q: Will Submission Processes be affected by the ArchDaily Supporters' Program?
A: We are not changing our approach to publication, and this involves all Submission Processes. You can submit news, articles, events, competitions, built and unbuilt projects. All of them will undergo a meticulous curation process to present the most interesting and innovative content from around the world. It will be published for free if it successfully goes through our editorial or curatorial process. This also means that the chances of publishing your article or project are not affected by whether or not you are a supporter.
Q: As a new subscriber, will I be able to get access to previously shared benefits/content?
A: Benefits that are still valid and all Supporters' content will be available to access, even if shared before subscription time. You can see all the newsletter issues here if you deleted the email or cannot find it.
Q: Where can I find the details of the partnership-related benefits?
A: You can see the general description of the current benefits on this public page. The Supporters' newsletter includes specific discount codes and detailed information restricted to you.
Q: Is there some free trial of the supporter's program?
A: There is no free trial period, but if you feel unsure about it, you can always go with the monthly payments, and cancel anytime.
Q: Is there a group package in the works?
