The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies announces an Open Call for a Landscape Studio to support an ongoing architectural project for Gyumri Market and Culinary School. The project aims to revitalize the historic food market of the Armenian City of Gyumri, establishing a unique culinary school in the heart of it, surrounding it with restaurants and shops, and forming an iconic Public and Culinary Garden in its courtyard.

March Materials Architecture Competition calls for architects and interior architects to submit built projects. This panel discussion brings together curators and emerging architects from the UK and across Europe to share their perspectives on evolving professional landscapes and alternative models of practice that challenge the status quo.

On June 12, 2025 at 1 Spadina Cres, Toronto, Wedge Curatorial Projects and The Luminato Festival are co-presenting "The Wedge Lecture" an annual lecture program with a focus on connecting the local and the global. This year's lecture will feature award-winning designer Stephen Burks in conversation with acclaimed architects Shane Laptiste and Tura Cousins Wilson of SOCA (Studio of Contemporary Architecture) as they explore how art, architecture, and design can challenge dominant narratives, reclaim identity, and imagine new futures. The site is located at the heart of the local economy, near Donghae Station (925, Seodong-ro, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do). The site is currently being used as the location of a steel factory. With a long-term vision, we plan to relocate the factory and redevelop the entire site(661,000㎡). Our goal is to transform the underutilized areas such as 'Vacant Land' and 'Employee Housing Land' into a remarkable destination that attracts both domestic and international visitors.
