Boat Hangar es un edificio utilitario contemporáneo que hace una sutil referencia y, al mismo tiempo, contrasta fuertemente con el rico contexto del histórico astillero NDSM. BETA recibió el encargo de diseñar una estructura funcional en uno de los pocos terrenos disponibles en este sitio patrimonial. El edificio se utiliza para el almacenamiento, el mantenimiento estacional y la construcción de nuevos yates. Asimismo, alberga espacios de oficinas y ocasionalmente se utiliza para teatro de sitio y otros eventos culturales del astillero NDSM.
