Neuro-architecture transmits knowledge and technologies from the field of neuroscience into the professions of spatial design, aimed to get better informed design solutions to promote human and non-human well-being in our public spaces. We kick off with the key-findings of our 2-year research project Sensing Streetscapes, followed by a roundtable exploration with the global pioneers from Neuro-architecture. What is the state of affairs and what is the potential of this approach to push improved sustainable well-being, especially in the newly built high density urban settings?
The Triennale is seeking proposals for self-funded projects that engage with the core programming of its 6th edition, to be held in 2022. These projects should showcase the independent and diverse production essential to the city's vibrant cultural mechanisms and demonstrate an interest in the lively debate surrounding architecture.

The 3rd National Congress for the Safeguarding of Cultural Heritage - CICOP Brazil 2021 is organized by the Architecture and Urbanism program at the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP), São Paulo Campus, and the Department of History at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). The theme is "Cultural Heritage: Fragments, Sums, Constructions, and Dystopias." The event will be entirely free and held fully online from November 9 to 12, 2021.
Japan’s natural and built landscapes coexist intensely, creating highly dynamic and unique spatial relationships in architecture. Taught by architect and professor Marina Lacerda, the course presents works by architects who have explored these relationships from various perspectives. The selected architectural proposals exemplify conceptual, spatial, and material aspects.
“Arquitectos” is a micro-documentary series produced by AvantVisual and directed by Mauro Alfaro on the life and work of prominent Chilean architects. The series was originally scheduled to premiere at the XXI Chile Architecture and Urbanism Biennial, “The Common and the Everyday.” However, due to the suspension of the Biennial in the wake of the 2019 social uprising, the premiere could not take place.

This summer, around 100 architecture students and young professionals from Europe (and beyond) will come to Slavutych, Northern Ukraine, to participate in SESAM 2021 - Poliklinika. After postponing the event for a year due to the global pandemic, and putting in place a series of Covid-compliant measures to ensure the safety of everyone involved, the event will take place over three separate cycles with a reduced number of participants. BACKGROUND The New Generations Festival is an annual event that brings together emerging architecture practices and professionals from various fields, creating a space for the contemplation and analysis of the architecture profession. Titled “New Urban Challenges”, the festival will take place this June 30th, July 1st & 2nd at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome, in a hybrid format with a combination of virtual and public events.

The Hong Kong Designers Association (HKDA) officially announced the kickoff of its Global Design Awards (GDA) 2021 through the public call for entries at the Press Conference cum Seminar held earlier.
