Playgrounds, workout facilities, city lights, outdoor furniture, even dog training equipment... When it comes to urban design, creating safe and friendly public spaces, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of citizens of all ages, even the smallest details start to mean a lot and just about everything becomes ever so important.
This summer, Moscow invites both professionals and urban culture enthusiasts from all over the world to exchange ideas and learn more about ultra-modern architecture and designs, and all the perks of big city life! If you share our passion for high-tech features, care a great deal about the environment, and have your own vision of how your city should look in the future, then we hope to welcome you at the City: Details exhibition!
City: Details is an international exhibition of design solutions for urban environments that will take place from June 26th to July 4th. It’s being held in an online format for the first time, so the organizers have created a state-of-the-art virtual exhibition space based on an advanced online platform and gaming software. It is free for everyone to attend! A total of some 500 exhibits – original hardscape elements and works of public art – will be presented here at http://mrexpo.ru/en/ as 3D models and visualizations that boast high levels of detail and 360° views.
The online format provides a number of new advantages. Now, visitors will be able to get acquainted with public spaces created by designers from Russia, Germany, Poland, France, Hungary, the United States, China, and Belarus at a time that’s convenient for them!
There are seven categories to browse, such as Children, Sports, Pets, Relaxation Zones, Art, Lighting and Outdoor Equipment. The exhibits include outdoor furniture, gazebos, bridges, exercise equipment, water features, ideas for parking, and much much more!
The business program will also be larger this year, with leading professionals from different cities and countries taking part in lectures, discussions, and public talks – all free and convenient for the public to join!
As always, everyone will have the chance to vote for their favorite exhibit. The items that receive the most votes will appear in public spaces in Moscow as part of Mayor Sergey Sobyanin’s My District urban development program.
Register at http://mrexpo.ru/en/ to take a stroll through a futuristic 3D park, attend educational events, play fun games, and, most importantly, check out the latest urban designs and vote for the ones you like the best!
