This event continues the seminar series developed by the Docomomo São Paulo Chapter, which resumed in 2017 with the 5th Docomomo São Paulo Seminar held in the capital and organized in collaboration with the School of Architecture and Urbanism at Mackenzie Presbyterian University (FAU-UPM). That seminar was followed in 2018 by the 6th Docomomo São Paulo Seminar, co-hosted with the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism (IAU-USP) at the University of São Paulo’s São Carlos campus. Scheduled for 2020, this new seminar fits naturally into the national DOCOMOMO calendar, which hosts national events in odd-numbered years and regional events in even-numbered years. However, given the ongoing pandemic and social distancing requirements, the organizers have opted for a remote format; consequently, the event will take place entirely online. This will be the first online Docomomo Seminar in Brazil.

This year, the 13th International NUTAU 2020 Seminar, scheduled for November, will be held entirely online. The central theme, “Valorization of Urban Forestry Waste,” seeks to discuss its potential for research and projects within its fields of activity.

The Latin American Coordinator of Architecture Students (CLEA), through CLEA Editorial and ONEA Ecuador, invites you to the virtual launch of the third issue of Revista CLEA, developed under the theme "Decolonization of Spaces." “Rethink the City: New Approaches to Global and Local Urban Challenges” is a free online course offered by the Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands). Following two editions with over 17,000 students, the third edition begins on February 19, 2020. The course was awarded the 2017 Excellence in Teaching Award by the Association of European Schools of Planning (AESOP).

The 8th DOCOMOMO Brazil – North/Northeast Seminar will take place in Palmas from May 20 to 23, 2020. The event is organized by the Núcleo AMA – NAMA, the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), the Lutheran University Center of Palmas (CEULP/ULBRA), and the Federal University of Uberlândia. The seminar program includes lectures, debates, roundtables, publication launches, and MOMO-Tours, which feature visits to iconic works of modern architecture in Tocantins.

The Wind Pavilion is a space covered by over 500 square meters of lightweight fabric that moves in response to wind generated by various fans, controlled by an Arduino digital system.

We are in the final stage of the project "Built Memory: cataloging and digitization of collections at the Ingo Hering Memory Center"—a project sponsored by the Santa Catarina Foundation of Culture through the 2019 Elisabete Anderle Call for Cultural Stimulation, which enabled the processing, storage, and digital sharing of part of architect Hans Broos's collection.
