Lima Cómo Vamos, an institution with over a decade of experience, is calling for submissions of research and projects focused on our cities and their development. Selected research will be presented at the III Foro Ciudades Cómo Vamos, a platform for sharing approaches, evidence, and proposals with public authorities, private institutions, and the general public committed to improving the country’s cities and the quality of life of their inhabitants.

Since May, the School of Architecture at Universidad Finis Terrae has been hosting the "Isolated Dialogues" conversation series, where professionals from various fields discuss art, music, design, architecture, and creative processes, among other topics, through the lens of confinement. Guests such as writer Rafael Gumucio, architect Cazú Zegers, and former Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Andrés Gómez-Lobo have participated in this experience.

Call for Submissions PIXO 13: Aging in Place

In conjunction with the 2019 IAPS Symposium, "Aging in Place in a World of Inequalities: How to Design Healthy Cities for All"—held from November 27 to 30, 2019, in Pelotas, Brazil—the thirteenth edition of PIXO (a journal of architecture, city, and contemporaneity) is now accepting submissions under the theme AGING IN PLACE. Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize - 5th Edition

The call for entries for the 2020 CAU/RJ Grandjean de Montigny Grand Prize is now available! This year's winner will be awarded a study trip to a Latin American country, in addition to R$ 7,000 for expenses. The authors of the projects placed 2nd and 3rd will receive R$ 5,000 and R$ 3,000, respectively, for study trips. The results will be announced at the Architect and Urban Planner Day celebration on December 15. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be held online and streamed live on the CAU/RJ YouTube channel. Further details regarding the program will be released soon.

International ideas competition "Backnang West Neighbourhood 2050"

The 2027 International Building Exhibition celebrates the centennial of the Weißenhof Estate in Stuttgart. Much like its predecessor—the famous exhibition orchestrated by Mies van der Rohe, which brought together masters of the Bauhaus and the European Modern Movement—IBA'27 will present a selection of projects and buildings across the Stuttgart urban region in 2027.
