The Brazilian Center for Steel Construction (CBCA) has opened registration for the 16th CBCA/Alacero Architecture Student Competition 2023. Interested participants may register until July 17 and submit their projects by August 25. The modern design of a protected life, assuming a passive body constructed individually in the disease-health opposition, focuses on the elimination of disease through the use of the hospital as a fundamental device for biomedical knowledge and intervention. This year, we celebrate the 60th anniversary of our Colombian Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, which has established itself as a landmark event in the architectural world.

The goal of this competition is to foster research and the development of academic content in the form of essays. These submissions should provide a historical account and analyze the urban and architectural evolution of the city from its founding to the present day, framed within the various categories established for this competition.
