Situated within the 1,200-acre Taza development on Tsuut’ina Nation land, the Taza Marketing Centre serves as a commercial hub and community information centre. Designed by Dialog Architects and built by Elan Construction, the building showcases a hybrid façade that balances energy performance with design sophistication. Covering roughly 11,442 ft², the façade features angular, pre-assembled solar modules integrated with complementary lightweight cladding, creating depth and texture while maintaining a cohesive visual identity. This approach reflects a forward-looking vision for sustainable, community-oriented architecture.
Mitrex eFacade PRO+ and Cladify modules work in tandem to deliver both renewable energy and aesthetic excellence. The system generates 57 kW of clean electricity, helping reduce operational costs and support regional sustainability goals. Custom solar finishes were paired with non-solar Cladify modules, creating a unified and dynamic façade. Backed by a lifetime envelope warranty guaranteeing at least 80% energy output after 25 years, the façade ensures lasting performance and resilience for the building’s lifetime and beyond.
